GROUNDBREAKING OF NATIONAL EXHIBITION CENTER

Hanoi, August 30, 2024, Vingroup Corporation officially started the construction of the National Exhibition Center project in Dong Anh district. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee shared: "Hanoi City will continue to support the investor in implementing the project with the goal of putting the project into operation as soon as possible. In addition, the city will accelerate the investment progress in developing urban traffic infrastructure and the bridge system across the Red River, such as Tu Lien Bridge, Ring Road 3 in the north of the city, Ring Road 4 in the capital region and related urban railway lines, in order to create a synchronous connection between the National Exhibition Center project and neighboring areas, effectively exploiting the value of the project and contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the capital". With its unique stature and scale in the Top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world - the National Exhibition Center will be an international destination for leading global trade and exhibition events, initiating the Expo economy vibrant, similar to the Dubai Expo (United Arab Emirates), Frankfurt (Germany), Fiera Milano (Italy),... This is an important foundation to create an international environment for domestic and foreign enterprises to exchange, connect, promote trade, and at the same time be a new driving force for the economic growth of the capital Hanoi. The project is located right at the Northeast gateway of Hanoi, the center of important traffic arteries to the provinces including roads, air routes and metro that have been planned. From the "diamond coordinates" of the project, it only takes 15 minutes to move to Noi Bai International Airport, 5 minutes to Hoan Kiem and Tay Ho districts via Tu Lien bridge (under construction), adjacent to the future metro line connecting Dong Anh with other locations in Hanoi city.
